Since the Spotify app is broken, I am relying on the Sonos app integration, which works great as each song is played. It would be nice if the album art also displayed similar to Spotify.
Also, it would be nice to customize the song, album, artist text colors (or the song color at the very least)

What do you mean Spotify is broken? It works perfectly fine for me!
Sorry, I should have clarified. When playing Spotify songs via Spotify Connect (that integrates with Sonos), the display doesn’t update on the Spotify app and does on the Sonos app.
