Wondering if you’ve thought about a smart button integration? Something like a Flic 2 button for different functions. Ability to cycle through different apps. Start, Stop, Reset a timer. Etc.
Yes! How do you use your Flic button right now? Does it integrate with IFTTTT, because that’s how I’d like to handle a lot of these things.

How about adding Apple’s HomeKit support, so that when “any family member enters the house”, then the display turns on, so it’s not on all the time? Homekit already has automation for “any family member enters the house”.
