No more drop-downs for colors! Let users select from a basic color range selector. The field should pass a hex value in the schema config that we can use in app development.
Yeah… this would be nice… As a current work around though you can create a hex config yourself using a text field and then validate the hex entered to set a custom color. a color picker with hex entry though would be ideal!
Yeah I’ve implemented it two ways in an app called Desk Name Tag. Provided a color drop down with standard colors and then enabled a text field for custom hex colors. Ideally it be nice to switch over to this so I can get rid of the extra field and still keep a good user experience. I’ve gotten feedback that users didn’t want to go through the effort of going to find their hex.
