I think it would be nice to be able to remove an app from the cycle temporarily. I am the developer of the (at times, depending on the weather 
) most popular weather app in the Netherlands which features a graph depicting the precipitation in the next two hours.
However, when no precipitation is expected, the graph is empty and that would not give a user a lot of information. So in that case, it would be nice to be able to set a flag to have the Tidbyt just skip my app when cycling, until I reset that flag when precipitation is expected.
