If I only have one app displaying for many hours at a time, is there a risk of burn-in or are these LEDs not susceptible to that?
It’s totally fine to display just one app.
In theory any LED-based system can be subject to burn-in. In practice, our displays use a scan mode where only two rows are ever lit up at the same time. This hugely mitigates aging effects like burn-in.
If you actually manage to burn in an image, we will replace your unit and I will personally buy you a pizza
