It would be great if we could push images to the Tidbyt directly without having to go through the API!

The reasons I had in mind were:

  • Faster than the API (useful for low latency notifications or live updates in something like an audio visualizer)
  • Could work without internet, behind a firewall, or if Tidbyt servers are down
  • Could use for sensitive data
    • Not that I don’t trust Tidbyt, but I have some workplace uses in mind that would not be allowed in the current API implementation :pensive:
