Passwords in schema

I’m writing an app to call a third-party API. It’s pretty simple, and I have it working. I want to publish the app. The API requires a token which I get with the account email and password. I feel it’s too complicated for the Tidbyt user to get the token themselves (I think the token has a long shelf life). Would people be squeamish putting their password in the Tidbyt app? What security does Tidbyt have for schema data?

I would think that as long as it’s not a financial type login people won’t care that much.

Thanks. No, nothing financial but you could really mess up someone’s BBQ.
