I set night mode to end at 7 AM however saw that it was still dimmed at 10 AM. I’ve set my time zone appropriately. Haven’t had this issue for the past few weeks. Only occurred today.
App version: 1.100.73
I would like to add that when I disable night mode the screen brightness goes back up.
I don’t see anything obvious at first glance that would explain this. Digging in deeper…

I seem to have the same problem. The brightness of the tidybt is reduced, while the normal app rotation is shown. Once I disable nightmode, the brightness goes up.

I’ve also just started experiencing this issue. Everything mentioned in the above comments is happening to me

I’m having this same issue. It’ll work as it should for a couple weeks and then out of the blue it’ll just stop kicking into night mode.
