Is there anything about developing a new app that is similar to a pre-existing app? I just submitted my first app (a Fortnite win tracker) for review, and am interested in developing a new app to track the MLB (Baseball) season leaders across different stats. There is already an app to do this, but I’m not a big fan of the way the functionality/schema works, and wanted to develop an alternative. Is this acceptable, or would my app be blocked if I attempted to publish it?
It won’t be blocked. There are plenty of apps that accomplish that do the same thing.
