Gen2 not connecting

I had to unplug my Tidbyt to move it. When I plugged it back in, it was stuck into a connecting loop.

So, as some people her have advised in the past, I did a unit factory reset. Went into the Tidbyt app and reset it, connected it to my WiFi network and got a “Tidbyt is connected to the internet but not to our servers” Checked the status page and the servers appear to be up.

Any suggestions?

Same here. I didn’t even move/unplug my Tidbyt. I looked up and where the weather had been displayed a moment before it showed “CONNECTING…” followed by the brief swirl animation…and over and over.

Gen1. Mine’s out, but service says all green. https://status.tidbyt.com/

Gen 1 has been out as well for just over an hour now (since just after 4 PM EST).

Same. Glad it’s not just me.

Everyone, I saw the status page that it’s fixed. It is now online. Plug-in your Tidbyt and
let it connect to the network you had before. If you prefer and haven’t deleted any apps, create a new device and follow the instructions on reconnecting the device under the different name or otherwise. Keep in mind in that to leave the old device configurations intact until the full restoration is completed.

Mine’s back! Any ideas about what happened?

Looks like erroneous code render the servers to not connect all Tidbyt devices properly.
