Cannot Connect to company WiFi

I’m trying to use my Tidbyt at work and the WiFi here requires a staff login after attempting to connect to the WiFi. Because of this it doesn’t look like I’m able to connect to WiFi so I cannot initiate setup. Is there a way to get around this?

I think generally you would be asking your IT staff to give special treatment to your MAC address.

Sounds like they have these policies in place to keep people from adding unknown devices to the company WIFI. So check with them, they might think it is cool and help you get setup.

How can you find the MAC address? When I ran diagnostic, it only showed Bluetooth MAC not Wifi MAC.

The Wi-Fi MAC is always the Bluetooth MAC minus 2.

Examples:

if Bluetooth MAC is 00:00:5e:00:53:a3
  subtract 2 to get 00:00:5e:00:53:a1

if Bluetooth MAC is 00:00:5e:00:53:df
  subtract 2 to get 00:00:5e:00:53:dd
