Biggest example: I have many apps in my cycle, but I’d love for Spotify Now Playing to be the only one displayed when I’m using Spotify, without having to manually pin and unpin the app every time. I know the app “knows” when it’s active, as it is removed from the rotation when I’m not listening.
Ideally the option would also automatically unpin the app once it’s inactive and allow the usual rotation to take over. Currently, if I pin only the Spotify Now Playing app and then quit Spotify while leaving the Now Playing app pinned, it knows I’m not listening anymore and stops displaying—but then the display defaults to the standard Tidbyt animation instead of returning to normal rotation.
I think a lot of users would appreciate this extra customizability in app prioritization!
