I have not figured this out. How do I complete a Full Erase?

Just displaying a few random lights usually means the flash did not succeed.
this command should do a full erase.
pio run --target erase --environment tidbyt-gen2

I eventually got it to work by doing a RESET with an updated copy of Tronbyt.

Iā€™m wondering if anyone has a simple, ā€œIā€™m not nor ever have been a coderā€ how-to on installing Tronbyt. I donā€™t even have a clue where you install it. On the Tidbyt? On my Mac? In a cloud? If anyone knows of a ā€œTronbyt for Dummiesā€ explainer out there, please post.

Iā€™m back to trying to move my tidbyts to tronbyt again.

When I flash my device Iā€™m seeing that the brightness level is always very, very bright-ā€“ it doesnā€™t seem to be using the DEFAULT_BRIGHTNESS value from the secrets.json file.

I figured it out. All of my 6 Tidbyts are now Tronbyts! No more talking to the Tidbyt server!
