This has been a request stated many times before, using different wording. For instance here:

Playlists in the Tidbyt App

Right now you can only select a bunch of apps and use schedules for each app. It would be nice to have different playlists or groups of apps and have those either on a schedule or manually selected.

Display “sets”

Perhaps this has been mentioned already and I kissed it in my search… The ability to have sets of screens that you can cycle between automatically or manually. While I know you can currently set times screens show. Perhaps there are groups that you don’t want to have (example) stocks in. So… Set 1 is screen A, B, C and it shows from 8-10 Then it switches to set 2 screens that are A, C, D, and E the rest of the day.

Operating Modes

Another operating mode could be proximity. The Tidbyt could go to sleep whenever the user (or more precisely the phone) leaves the network. That way it would turn off when leaving for work, and turn back on again when you walk through the door.
